Remotely Operated Tool Carrier™ (ROTC)

The ROTC™ is a multipurpose carrier for subsea tooling capable of working in 4000 m water depth. The vehicle can be operated from any vessel in the Swire Seabed fleet.

Typical tasks for the system include:

  • Removal and recovery of subsea structures
  • Excavating and dredging
  • Cutting and grinding
  • Diamond wire cutting
  • Cone Penetration Testing (CPT)
  • Seabed sampling
